HIDE YOUR INTERNET ACTIVITY
By visiting us at Arising Women, you have taken a step to stop the abuse. However, if your abuser has access to your computer, your abuser might be able to track your activity on your computer. One of the best ways to prevent your abuser from knowing where you have been is to use a computer at a public library, work, an internet café, the home of someone you trust, or a school.
If you must use a computer that your abuser has access to, you can prevent someone from seeing the sites you have visited by clearing your History and your Cache. It is best to clear only those items in your History and Cache that relate to sites that you do not want your abuser to see as it may look suspicious if you delete everything. Instructions for clearing your History and Cache follow for specific browsers.
